We had a few tiny changes to the start of our activities this morning as I wanted to go to the rubber duck shop. There was also a really cool coffee cafe next door that Anthony wanted to try. So we went for a walk back to the old town. It was so awesome walking down there as we walked past all the old machine and tool shops. There were stacks of gears and shops that sold just old wheels and hooks. We also randomly saw Optimus Prime.

We did some shopping at the rubber duck shop! They had so many cool ducks. There should be one of these shops in every city.

We next went into Mother Roasters. When you enter this cafe it looks like an unused workshop. It has been Converted from a car engine parts shop, the ground level is left almost as it is. Upstairs was a really cool area with very fancy coffee orders. Anthony ordered a brew called Good sometimes bad! It turned out it was good.

After coffee we decided to head across to Wat Arun. We were only going to have time to get to one temple today and I had really liked the look of this one. Wat Arun is called the temple of dawn. The temple was built during the Ayutthaya period, before Bangkok became the capital of Thailand. After Ayutthaya fell in 1767, King Taksin chose the area around Wat Arun as the center of his new capital, Thonburi. According to tradition, he arrived at the temple at dawn, which is how Wat Arun got its name.It was re built in 1851 during the reign of King Rama III. It is made with so much porcelian used in a mosaic style. The detailing is crazy. It was so hot walking around but we spent around an hour walking around.

The next stop was to go over for our afternoon tea tour. We had booked a thai afternon tea sightseeing tour. Where you got to go around on a fancy bus and see the sights of Bangkok. The food was so fancy and so nice and it ws lovely to see Bangkok for 1 hour and a half in the airconditioning.

Our last stop for the day was to head over to Lumpini Park. Lumpini Park is a large public park located in the center of Bangkok it is a green space that is very popular for jogging, excercise classes and monitor lizards. We saw many people doing exercise around the park. Some were jogging or walking, while others were doing tai chi, stretching, or using outdoor gym equipment. Very popular. We had gone here to see the monitor lizards and there were heaps. We even saw 2 fighting. It was nice to go for a walk and enjoy the space. Another interesting thing we saw was at At 6pm, everyone stopped what they were doing to stand still for the Thai national anthem. People showed respect by standing quietly and even stopped their jogging.

We has a quick dinner at coco ichibanya and then made our way back to the hotel.
