It was an extremly early morning as we got up and hopped on the plane for our flight to Kuala Lumpur. We had decided to stop over here as it broke up our flight and I got a business class flight out of Kuala Lumpur. Whilst we were here we wanted to go to Uncle Rodgers resturant. The flight was uneventful and before we knew it we were in Malaysia.
The airport in Kuala Lumpur was super easy and organised, we got our bags quickly and then headed out to order a grab to the city. The last time we were in Kuala Lumpur was 13 years ago and man have things changed. It is much more fancy now and has crazy highways to get into the city. The hotel we were staying at was an apartment and was so fancy.
Our first stop was to go to 7-eleven as after 11 days in Srilanka not being able to find drinks or food we needed to stock up. If you look at Anthony’s face in the photo you can see how happy he was. We may have gone a bit overboard.

We went for a walk around town and I was dissapointed we havent been back here in 13 years it is a really amazing city. We walked down the night market street, across to the electronics building before ending up at McDonalds as Anthony wanted to try the Malaysia only chicken.

We finally made it to Uncle Rodgers resturant. Uncle Rodger is a youtuber who is known for making fun of people for making fried rice, in particular Jamie Oliver. He is like an overacting sterotype of Asians. We have wanted to go here since he opened it a year ago and a 1 night stopover provided the perfect oppurtunity to visit. It was so over the top themed,,, i loved it. The food was quiet good too. We had a quick look at a few shops before heading back to the hotel.

As much as I want to get home I am quite sad we only have one night here. There is so much to see and eat. Guess that just means I will have to come back again. Tomorrow we fly home.
